XQ-3 Platform
XWA Upgrade - Space Station - Space Platform
The XQ-Platforms are large space stsations usually used as Outposts by both the Empire and the Rebel Alliance. The XQ-3 Platform is far more massive than the other stations and capable of supporting ship sizes up to cruiser class.
The model comes with a set of skins, a custom hangar for 4 factions (Rebel, Imperial, Civilian & Pirate) as well as several object profiles including versions with or without cargobay extensions.
Custom hangar
The platform includes a custom hangar OPT. Thanks to Ace Antilles this hangar has 3 different Setups depending on the station's IFF in custom missions: Rebel, Imperial, Neutral.

Version 0
The version I'm currently working on could theoretically be called version 2.0, as it's pretty much a complete remake of a model which I had started back in 2005 and which I had finished to about 75%. Since, however that one was never released, I'm calling it version 0. Here's the old progress log for nostalgia's sake.
I sort of went back and forth on those support beams. They were present in the original TIE Fighter game, but were removed in vanilla XWA. To be honest, they don't really serve any purpose in space and detract from a Star Wars-ish look rather than adding to it. (Same story as with SC1). So yeah In the end I got rid of'em.
